QVC is recalling over one million pairs of oven gloves due to a burn hazard, after receiving reports of insufficient heat protection. The “Temp-tations Oven Gloves” have resulted in 92 minor burns among consumers. Those who have purchased the recalled gloves are urged to stop using them immediately and contact QVC for a refund.
The gloves were sold online at qvc.com and through QVC’s televised and digital shopping platforms from August 2018 to August 2024, ranging in price from $4 to $13 a pair. They were available in a variety of colors and designs, either as single pairs or in sets. The gloves are labeled with “Temp-tations by Tara” inside, and can be identified by model numbers listed in the recall notice.
Consumers are encouraged to visit the recall’s online registration page for more information. QVC is taking swift action to protect consumers from potential burns and is offering refunds for those affected by the defective product.
