Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin spoke at the Reagan National Defense Forum in California, where he emphasized the importance of peace through strength. Since 2022, the United States has provided over $62 billion in security assistance to Ukraine. The aid announcement comes as President Biden’s administration nears its end, and as global leaders continue to seek a peaceful resolution to the conflict in Ukraine.
