A woman in Queens slashed a taxi driver in the neck when he asked for payment for the ride. The incident occurred in East Elmhurst around 2 a.m. on Feb. 11 in front of a church. The woman fled the scene after the attack. The driver was taken to Elmhurst Hospital Center in stable condition to receive treatment. The police have released photos of the suspect, who was last seen in pink pants, white boots, a white shirt, and carrying a yellow purse. Authorities are asking the public for any information that may help identify the woman and are urging anyone with knowledge of the incident to contact Crime Stoppers at (800)577-TIPS.
