A 3.2 magnitude earthquake was recorded in Northern California near Ohlone College in Fremont at 9:35 a.m. PT on Thursday. The tremor was felt in other parts of Alameda County and cities like Milpitas and San Jose, but no damage was reported. The USGS stated that the likelihood of damage depends on factors such as the distance from the epicenter, type of soil, and building construction, and that damage is not likely unless the magnitude reaches at least 4 or 5. Earlier in the week, two minor earthquakes were recorded in Huntington Park and Lake Pillsbury, California.
