A key moment in the game came when Kings forward Alex Turcotte failed to convert on a penalty shot in the second period. New Jersey improved to 8-6-3 at home and is 11-4-0 on the road. The Devils will host the Blackhawks next, while the Kings will visit the Rangers on Saturday afternoon.
