Hudson, a former Bridgewater State University cheerleader, criticized the food delivery service in an Instagram post after a glass bottle of Schweppes tonic water left on her porch caused her injury. DoorDash initially responded with a generic apology and a refund in credits, but only offered a more personal response after Hudson shared her grievances with her Instagram followers. Hudson praised DoorDash’s competition, Uber Eats, in the same post. The injury occurred as Belichick and Hudson, who have a 48-year age gap, were spending time together during the holiday season. The couple made their red carpet debut at the American Museum of Natural History’s 2024 Museum Gala in New York City. Despite criticism of their age gap, a source close to the couple stated that Belichick appreciates Hudson for who she is. Belichick, currently in talks with the University of North Carolina for a coaching job, has not been contacted by NFL teams looking for new head coaches. The incident with DoorDash is just the latest development in Belichick and Hudson’s high-profile relationship, which began in early 2023.
