The NFC South saw a shift in power, with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers taking a one-game lead over the Falcons with a win over the Las Vegas Raiders. The New York Jets suffered yet another heartbreaker, falling to the Miami Dolphins in overtime despite a stellar performance from Aaron Rodgers.
Saquon Barkley of the Philadelphia Eagles had a standout game, becoming the team’s single-season rushing leader and positioning himself to break an NFL record. However, quarterbacks in New Jersey and Nashville struggled in their respective games, with disappointing performances from Drew Lock, Derek Carr, Mac Jones, and Will Levis.
