Yemen’s Houthi group conducted a drone attack in central Israel’s Tel Aviv area in support of Palestinians in Gaza, striking a sensitive target without causing injuries but damaging several apartments. The group stated that their attacks will continue until Israel ends its war and siege on Gaza. The United States is leading a military coalition bombing Houthi targets in Yemen, but these efforts have not deterred the group from attacking Israel. The drone strike comes after a ceasefire in Lebanon, where Hezbollah also launched attacks on Israel to end the war on Gaza. Under the truce, Hezbollah and Israel agreed to cease attacks, with Hezbollah required to withdraw forces and dismantle military infrastructure in southern Lebanon. The ongoing Israeli assault on Gaza has resulted in the deaths of over 44,700 people, including women and children, and displaced nearly the entire population. The offensive has also caused widespread destruction and left over 100,000 people wounded. The United Nations and rights groups have accused Israel of genocide in Gaza. The Houthis, part of the Tehran-led “Axis of Resistance,” are continuing their support operations for Gaza and have pledged to confront any Israeli aggression with specific military operations until the war on Gaza ends.
