Flavor Flav alleges NBC removed him from Backstreet Boys’ dressing room during Rockefeller Christmas Tree lighting event.

Flavor Flav claimed his festive spirit was shattered when he was allegedly kicked out of the Backstreet Boys dressing room at the Rockefeller Christmas Tree Lighting in NYC by NBC officials on Wednesday night. Despite being backstage to meet the popular boy band, the rapper said he was confronted by security and told to leave the area. In a now-deleted post on social media, Flavor Flav expressed confusion and hurt over the incident, noting that he only tries to spread joy and love. The rapper, also known as William Drayton Jr., revealed that the band spoke up for him, but he ultimately watched the tree lighting ceremony from the crowd. The event saw performances from Kelly Clarkson, the Backstreet Boys, Jennifer Hudson, and other musical acts, as well as the iconic Radio City Rockettes. Thousands of visitors gathered to witness the lighting of the 74-foot Norway Spruce and enjoy the festive atmosphere. NBC and representatives for the Backstreet Boys have not yet commented on the incident. Despite the setback, Flavor Flav still enjoyed the holiday celebration, noting that there is nothing like Christmas in the city.
