Cam Thomas of the Nets believes he is still in the early stages of his rehab process

Brooklyn Nets guard Cam Thomas is still in the early stages of his rehab process after injuring his hamstring, missing his fifth consecutive game. While there is no set timetable for his return, Thomas remains focused on rehabbing to get back on the court as quickly as possible. Despite missing games, Thomas sees some benefit in the lighter portion of the schedule coming up for the Nets.

In addition to Thomas, Cam Johnson and Ben Simmons both played in the recent game against Indiana after dealing with injuries. Johnson had an impressive performance, scoring 26 points with a franchise-record seven three-pointers, while Simmons contributed seven points, seven rebounds, and nine assists.

The Nets also provided updates on other injured players, with Dorian Finney-Smith nearing a return and an upcoming update on Ziaire Williams expected after the weekend. The team is dealing with a streak of nine consecutive games with a new starting lineup, the longest in team history and the longest in the league this season.

Brooklyn has also added two upcoming games to their schedule against Memphis and Cleveland. Despite the challenges with injuries and constantly changing lineups, the Nets are finding positives in the performances of their players and remain focused on working through these obstacles as they aim to put together a successful season.
