UConn star Paige Bueckers continues to make history as the first name, image, and likeness (NIL) athlete to design and launch a player edition sneaker with Nike. The Nike G.T. Hustle 3 features personal details including her hometown area codes and a motivational phrase from her father. Bueckers, who signed an NIL deal with Nike in September 2023, has also partnered with Unrivaled, a 3×3 professional league, where she received ownership equity.
The 2025 WNBA Draft Lottery has sparked speculation about Bueckers’ future, with the Dallas Wings in position to select her first overall if she declares for the draft.
