Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, and several other states are deciding on various election-related measures in the upcoming elections.

In Alaska, Measure 2 seeks to repeal the top-four ranked-choice voting system, while in Arizona, Proposition 133 aims to eliminate partisan primaries. Colorado is considering the Top-Four Ranked-Choice Voting Initiative, which would establish a top-four open primary system and ranked-choice voting for state offices.

Connecticut is looking at the No-Excuse Absentee Voting Amendment, which would allow for no-excuse absentee voting, while the District of Columbia is considering Initiative: Ranked-Choice Voting, which would establish ranked-choice voting for all elections.

Kentucky, Missouri, North Carolina, Nevada, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Carolina, South Dakota, and Wisconsin are also looking at various amendments related to citizenship requirements to vote, ranked-choice voting, voter ID requirements, and primary elections.

These measures highlight the ongoing conversations around election reform and the different approaches states are taking to ensure fair and secure elections. Voters will have the opportunity to weigh in on these important issues in the upcoming elections.
