In a surprising MLS postseason, only one top-two seed remains as the Los Angeles Galaxy will face the Seattle Sounders in the Western Conference Final. The Galaxy are favored after sweeping the Colorado Rapids and defeating Minnesota United 6-2. Seattle, a sleeper team, swept the Houston Dynamo and upset LAFC.
The upcoming game between the Galaxy and Sounders is set for Saturday, November 30th at 7 p.m. PT at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California. The MLS Season Pass on Apple TV will have coverage of the game. In their regular-season matchups, the Galaxy won 1-0 at home in March, while May saw a 0-0 draw. Seattle hosted LA in Leagues Cup and won 3-1.
The Galaxy have won an MLS-leading five MLS Cups in nine appearances, while the Sounders have won two Cups in four appearances. The 2024 MLS Cup Final will take place on Saturday, December 7th.
