15-year-old girl injured in shooting outside Harlem public housing complex


A 15-year-old girl was shot and wounded outside a Harlem NYCHA complex on Wednesday evening, according to police reports. The incident occurred on Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Blvd. near W. 142nd St. outside NYCHA’s Hamilton Houses around 8:20 p.m. The girl was shot in the right thigh and then ran to W. 130th St. and St. Nicholas Ave. before receiving help and being taken to Harlem Hospital in stable condition.
