A 32-year-old man from Queens was injured in a shooting incident early Wednesday morning when a bullet fired by a neighbor pierced through his apartment door in Jackson Heights. The victim was found with a gunshot wound to his left thigh, and was treated at Elmhurst Hospital for a minor injury. The suspects, believed to be the victim’s neighbors, fled the scene and are currently at large. The motive behind the shooting is still unknown. One suspect was described as wearing a blue bubble jacket, gray pants, a white Yankees hat, and white sneakers, while the other suspect was wearing a gray bubble jacket, gray sweatpants, and a dark-colored Yankees hat. Police are investigating the incident, but no arrests have been made at this time. Residents in the area are urged to provide any information they may have to help solve the case.
