The Los Angeles Rams regained their winning form with a 30-20 victory over the Minnesota Vikings in Week 8 of the NFL season. The Rams improved to 3-4 while handing the Vikings their second straight loss after starting the season 5-0.

Quarterback Matthew Stafford was the standout player of the game, throwing four touchdowns and surpassing Dan Marino for ninth-most completions in NFL history. The return of wide receivers Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp provided a significant boost to the Rams’ offense, with Nacua recording 106 yards and Kupp adding a touchdown.

On the flip side, former Rams offensive coordinator turned Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell suffered a defeat at the hands of his former team, with the Vikings losing their second consecutive game after their hot start to the season.

Despite the loss, Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson had a standout performance with 115 receiving yards, breaking an NFL record for the most 100-yard games in a receiver’s first five seasons.

Meanwhile, Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold had a forgettable homecoming, falling to the Rams in Southern California. He completed 18 of 25 passes for 240 yards and two touchdowns but faced challenges leading his team to victory.

Overall, the Rams’ victory marked a return to form with their key players back in action, setting the stage for an exciting remainder of the NFL season.
