Surveillance images of the suspect have been released by police, who describe him as having a light complexion and medium build. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black hat, gray sweatshirt, and carrying a multicolored Sprayground backpack.
The two women, aged 30 and 28, were confronted by the man on Coney Island Ave. and Ave. O, where he threw the banana at them and made derogatory remarks before fleeing on foot.
