A 66-year-old bicyclist from the Bronx tragically lost his life after being hit by a pickup truck in the Soundview neighborhood on Saturday afternoon. The victim, whose identity has not been disclosed yet, was struck at an intersection just before noon. The GMC pickup, driven by a 24-year-old man, was heading north on Commonwealth Ave. when it collided with the cyclist who was traveling east on Westchester Ave.
