Exciting Autumn Weekend Ahead in Tri-State Area: First Alert Forecast in!

A Big Fall Warmup Set to Start in NYC

New York City, New Jersey, and Connecticut are in for a treat this weekend as a big fall warmup is set to begin. After a week of chilly November-like weather, temperatures are expected to return to more September-like conditions starting on Saturday and lasting into next week.

High temperatures are set to reach the low to mid 70s on Saturday with plenty of sunshine and calm winds. Overnight, temperatures will drop to the 30s and 40s in the suburbs while New York City will see lows in the low 50s. Sunday will bring even warmer temperatures, with highs in the mid to upper 70s and abundant sunshine.

Looking ahead to next week, temperatures could climb into the low 80s in some parts of the Tri-State Area by Monday. The dry weather pattern is expected to continue through the week, with no rain in the forecast. However, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has predicted that this will change come wintertime.

Overall, this weekend’s weather is perfect for viewing the fall foliage and enjoying outdoor activities. Make sure to take advantage of the warm temperatures before winter sets in. Stay tuned for more updates on the weather as Mark Prussin contributes to the forecast.
