A 26-year-old man was shot and killed in a NYCHA building in the Bronx during a possible robbery on Wednesday night. The incident took place on the 7th floor of the Saint Mary’s Park Houses on Westchester Ave. and E. 156th St. in Melrose. Police responded to a 911 call and found the victim shot in the neck in a pool of blood with money scattered on the floor. Authorities are investigating if the shooting was a robbery gone wrong and are searching for two suspects who fled the scene. The victim was taken to Lincoln Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
