Prince Harry recently arrived in Southern Africa for the first time in five years, following a busy week that included trips to London and New York City. The Duke of Sussex posed for photos with Prince Seeiso of Lesotho during an event at his nonprofit organization Sentebale’s Mamohato Children’s Centre in Maseru, Lesotho. Founded in 2006, Sentebale focuses on supporting young people in the region affected by HIV, AIDS, climate change, wealth inequality, and health challenges.
During the event, Harry emphasized the importance of empowering the younger generation to use their voices and create real change. He also addressed the dangers of social media for children during his speech at the United Nations in New York City. Additionally, he attended the annual WellChild Awards in London, where he has been a patron for 16 years.
Prince Harry’s visit to Southern Africa comes at a time when he is actively involved in various philanthropic efforts. His dedication to supporting young people, advocating for causes like mental health and climate change, and empowering the next generation of leaders has been widely recognized. The Duke of Sussex continues to make a difference through his charitable work and efforts to create positive change in the world.
